The Grey Beings and the Interstellar Police Force hold the advanced technology within the galaxy to themselves, unable to be used by the public. Sinwotraz was part of an organization trying to reverse engineer various technologies used by the Greys and Interstellar Police Force. She specifically researched their disguise technology, which by utilizing lab grown cells of the Syvron species, the user can generate a second layer of skin over themselves and change their appearance (Used by Ed in Grey Matters). Sinwotraz's idea was to develop the technology to be used in the medical field as universal skin grafts and organ transplants. Sinwotraz in her studies failed to properly contain her experiment, causing the lab grown cells to latch onto her and begin digesting her whole body. She survived, but lost the majority of her body in the process. Contained within a suit of her own design, she is now nothing more than a gelatinous mix of the Syvron cells and digested body parts.
Unable to continue her studies and now on the run from the Interstellar Police Force, Baus and the bandits took her in when she had nowhere else to go.
